Loch Lomond 19yo TBWC Bottling Note
One of Clarke's Three Laws states that "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Distillation, of course, is not magic. It's science. However, how to do you explain how the Loch Lomond Distillery is able to produce so many different styles of whisky? Magic. Sorcery. Wizardry! Well, here's the outcome of some delicious witchcraft - That Boutique-y Whisky Company's third bottling of Loch Lomond single grain!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Pancakes and maple syrup. Rhubarb and custard sweets, followed by a touch of milky coffee.
Palate: Buttered crumpets, Nutella (leading into sugared almond nuttiness), honey and yet more custard notes.
Finish: Just a pinch of nutmeg. Layers of brown sugar, sultana and brandied cherries.
