Some people say the Loch Lomond Distillery is simply just well-equipped with lots of handy distillation equipment, and that's why its able to produce all sorts of different whisky styles. That Boutique-y Whisky Company has a different theory - they're wizards. How else would they be able to make grain whisky, blends, and even various styles of single malt, like the peated Croftengea expressions? You need proof? Here's the Boutique-y bunch's proof - a 14 year old Croftengea!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Lightly smoky nose, ashes, bonfire in your neighbour’s garden, that sort of thing. Just a touch of streaky bacon.

Palate: Delicate, with a lovely appley, fruity, sweetness. Underlying smoky ash notes.

Finish: Lovely balance, black pepper and apples, quite short.
