A big, bold single malt from Speyside, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. This beast hails from an undisclosed distillery, and finished its nine-year maturation in a sherry butt, before being bottled at cask strength.
 

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Big waves of fruit lead, with prunes and raisins joined by cooked orchard fruits and candied nuts. Earthy notes of cacao and coffee grounds bring depth.

Palate: Dense, oily barley coats the palate, with fruit-studded milk chocolate, roasted coffee beans, and bold, oaken spice.

Finish: Cinnamon and anise bring warmth to the finish, while robust, oily malt lingers.
