Macduff 12yo TBWC Bottling Note

That Boutique-y Whisky Company has bottled its 5th batch of Macduff, and this one is a 12 year old expression. Who's on the label, you ask? Well, it's none other than Macduff from Macbeth! He's enjoying a 'Duff and Duff Boilermaker, because we're sure that's exactly how Shakespeare envisioned his characters would be interpreted many years later.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sweet floral, nutty malt and bruised black fruit initially. Burnt tobacco and roasted nuts add an interesting depth among vanilla, lemon sponge and a little herbal note.

Palate: Cereal sweetness takes the lead, orange blossom, caramel and dry spice follow.

Finish: Black pepper, a hint of brown sugar and more citrus.
