The second batch of Loch Lomond single grain Scotch whisky bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company has magicked itself into our hands! Loch Lomond are known for distilling not only grain whisky, but 8 different single malts - an impressive feat which may seem like magic to some. Perhaps it is magic and the label of the Boutique-y bottling is what the inside of Loch Lomond actually looks like. Oh, and it seems the wizard has a new incantation, or he's just working on a sweet rap verse.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Doughnuts with powdered sugar, lemon meringue pie and chocolate truffles. Sounds sweet, but it's well balanced with notes of bread-'n'-butter and pencil shavings (like what the wizard said).

Palate: Good helpings of vanilla cream and caramelised apple, with a little bit of toasted-apple-crumble-toppings. Fresh oak comes through on the mid palate.

Finish: Spicy cinnamon sticks and candied peels fill out the finish.

Overall: A fantastic bit of wizardry right here!
