Glenallachie 10yo TBWC Bottling Note

This 10 year old single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company, sports a label that may at first appear completely unrelated to the Glenallachie distillery from whence it came - why are there fish playing a rock concert, I hear you ask? Glenallachie's name translates to 'Valley of the Rocky Place', though there is nothing rocky about the third batch of this delicious whisky.

 

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

 

Nose: A sweet core of vanilla paired with malted porridge.

Palate: Fresh apple and citrus fruits to cut through warming spiced toffee.

Finish: Floral notes of oak and cinnamon fruit cake.
