Bunnahabhain 26yo TBWC Bottling Note

A well-matured single malt from the Bunnahabhain distillery, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. It was aged for 26 years before the Boutique-y bunch got their hands on it, and was bottled at 41.9% ABV. The label features the kind of hijinks that occur at the distillery on Islay, including caber-tossing, vintage truck admiring and sharks.
 

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Melted butter and peanut brittle, backed up by wafts of oatcake and polished mahogany.

Palate: New leather and tobacco, with balancing notes of dried apricot and salted caramel.

Finish: Shortbread, quince jam, sea salt and petrichor.
