Bruichladdich 27yo TBWC Bottling Note

A 27 year old Bruichaddich from the Isle of Islay, independently bottled by that Boutique-y Whisky Company! It's the 13th batch of Bruichladdich from the Boutique-y bunch, and thought some may consider it an unlucky number, that hasn't stopped it from being an incredible single malt Scotch whisky.

 

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

 

Nose: Earthy barley blends well with sandalwood, vine peaches and thyme honey notes.

Palate: Nutmeg, black pepper and cinnamon, with spiciness tempered by subtle almond pastry sweetness.

Finish: Espresso, apricot jam and walnut.
