This is the first batch of Blended Malt #6 from That Boutique-y Whisky Company! The label shows a busy morning in Souptown, with lots of people queuing up to visit the Bonny Bonny Bank, while a queue of planes are looking to make a landing in the middle of the road! Souptown sure is a vibrant place...

 

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

 

Nose: Toasted hazelnut and flamed orange peel, with a heap of raisins thrown in for good measure. A hint of baked earth sticks around.

Palate: Rye crackers, marmalade, soft smoke, salted butter on crumpets, chocolate ganache and beeswax.

Finish: Salted caramel, shortbread, oak and basil leaf.
