Another brill Blair Athol, bottled by the Boutique-y bunch! This is the 13th batch of Blair Athol single malt from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, and it's a 14 year old expression that was finished in Oloroso sherry casks. Lots to love about this one, including the label, which features a hint towards the history of Blair Athol...
 

Nose: Walnuts, fruit tea, a few whiffs of cigar box earthiness.

Palate: Mint chocolate, strawberry ice cream, a touch of minerality at its heart.

Finish: Softly toasted nuts and a layer of brown sugar.
