BenRiach 9yo TBWC Bottling Note

It's That Boutique-y Whisky Company's fourth batch of independently bottled BenRiach single malt - this time aged for 9 years before bottling. The label features a reference to BenRiach's recently revitalised malting floor, and how maltsters used to develop a hunch for the labour-intense job of turning the barley. This hunch would affectionately be referred to as a "Monkey Shoulder".

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Polished oak, caramelised sultanas and hazelnuts.

Palate: Orange peel, almond and barrel char. A few touches of burnt sugar, too.

Finish: Subtly drying and smoky.
