Aultmore - Batch 6 Bottling Note
Sharks and Velociraptors. An eternal rivalry which goes back to the dawn of the time. Though many have since forgotten this endless conflict, That Boutique-y Whisky Company document it in wonderful detail on the labels for their independently bottled Aultmore single malt Scotch whisky. This sixth batch continues to chronicle the battle, despite the rest of the Boutique-y range featuring illustrations relating to the whisky world because no tales about Aultmore jumped out. Instead, they created the most awesome label imaginable.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Huge Sherried nose with oak and walnut furniture and still warm Eccles cakes. Just hints of orange, Parma Violets and custard.
Palate: Imagine diving into an Eccles cake and you're almost there, from the rich raisins right down to the flaky pastry and a sprinkling of demerara.
Finish: More dried fruit and oak, spicy yet slightly cooling.
Overall: The hue of this whisky rather gives the game away - what a batch!
