Glen Moray 12yo TBWC Bottling Note

Glorious Glen Moray single malt here, bottled at 12 years of age by the folks from That Boutique-y Whisky Company. As you can see on the label, Mother Nature tried to get her hands on a few casks of Glen Moray back in 2002. The banks of the nearby River Lossie burst, causing a flood of water that threatened to whisk away casks of Glen Moray's whisky!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

 

Nose: Fresh malt, grist dried grass come first, before aromas of sticky toffee pudding with dates and marmalade begin to form.

Palate: Winter spice and smoke emerge through oily malt, banana pancakes and chestnut truffle cake. Tropical fruits drenched in syrup emerge with time.

Finish: Sweet cereals temper a firm oak char note.

Overall: A delicious, on-the-money expression from Glen Moray.
