Originalnotizen vom Abfüller:Cotswolds - Batch 1 TBGC Bottling Note
A cask-aged London dry gin from the Cotwolds distillery, bottled by That Boutique-y Gin Company. This has been aged in both first-fill ex-bourbon casks and ex-red wine casks, resulting in a bold flavour profile combining rich fruit and well-defined oak notes. The science of cask-ageing continues to be awesome, even if it does elicit maniacal laughter from distillers and spontaneous lightning storms...
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: The toasty cask influence boosts the woody juniper notes. Waxy orange and cinnamon-dusted plum.
Palate: White peach, rounded red berries and sweet cinnamon notes once again. Oak resin hints develop later on.
Finish: Well-balanced hints of creamy vanilla, cantaloupe and cracked black pepper.
Overall: A full-bodied, resinous cask-aged treat.
